Noboru , following a tradition set by his great
grandfather, is the fourth generation of his
family to work as a potter.
After graduating from the Kyoto City, Japan
Industrial Arts School, Noboru operated his
own studio in Kyoto. Noboru is a member of a
selected group of potters who fired their work
in the kiln of Kanjiro, Kawai. He has a distinguished
exhibition history. Noboru's works are included
in private collections in Japan, The U.S. ,
Great Britain, and Canada. He has been in Canada
for some 25 years and is currently the Artist
in Residence at the Faculty of Extension , University
of Alberta. Terwilliger's Gifts is honoured
that Noboru has agreed to allow us to display
and sell his work. Terwilliger's offers two
different colour patterns; only a portion of
which is shown here.
We invite you to visit Terwilliger's Gifts -
675 Main Street, Penticton, B.C. Canada to view
this artist's wonderful
